Frosty the Snowman

I finally checked out my sister's blog and realized this was a good way to let friends and family know whats up with me and my loved ones.
On Saturday night we got about 4-5 inches of snow and my little 3 year old, Emma came running into our room jumping up and down about going out in the snow. About 1/2 hour later a call came saying that church was cancelled so it looked like Emma would be able to play in the snow. Paul got out the tractor and took Luke for a ride and then hooked a sled to the back for Emma and Luke to go into the woods. I chose to stay back due to the big belly that gets in the way. Each child fell off once, but were ready to make snow angels when they returned.
Paul went off to plow the drive and I tried to show them how to make the snow angels. I got down on the ground and make the angel and then go to get up. But, I was a beached whale. I couldn't sit up or roll over. Luke also could not stand up and wanted my help. Finally I got my husband's attention and he came over and pulled me up. That has been his favorite story for the week. I don't think I will make a snow angel again when I am eight months pregnant!
Paul, who is the best snowman maker, started to make one with the help of Emma. We had gotten a few books from the library about snow and snowman, so as the snowman was put together, Luke's face brightened with excitement. What a fun morning and everyone took a good nap that afternoon after all the playing.
